Auditions

inD Theatre values diversity in all areas of its operations. We are dedicated to nurturing talent and hiring locally, and welcome and encourage auditions from non-Equity actors of all ethnic and cultural groups. We have roles available for all gender-expressions as well as gender non-conformed actors.

Venus in Fur

      by David Ives

inD Theatre will hold auditions for its March 2023 production of Venus in Fur, written by David Ives and directed by Shawn Belyea.  Rehearsals will take place on Bainbridge Island and in Seattle. All performances will take place at Rolling Bay Hall on Bainbridge Island.

Actors will receive an expense stipend of $1300.

Both the roles of Vanda Jordan and Thomas Novachek are available.

We are committed to an open and inclusive casting process. The right person for the role will express the essence of their character, and will not necessarily conform to an expected race, gender, ethnicity, physical abilities, or body type. Actors of color, gender non-conforming actors, and deaf or disabled actors are encouraged to request auditions.

COVID-19 SAFETY
All actors invited to audition must bring and show proof of FDA authorized, complete Covid-19 vaccination received no less than 2 weeks prior to the audition. In addition, for the safety of everyone involved in the audition process, all production team members, actors and anyone else on site will be required to wear masks at all times except for actors during their audition.
